So who is this Matt Guy anyway?!
Hey. I am Matt Johnson. Here is some short info about me so you can get to know me:
Who I am:
- I grew up in Trivoli, so I am a local. I guess I feel like I can relate better to the youth because of that reason.
I love seeing and talking to the teens each week. I would love to be there to help them make wise decisions and see them through their struggles. But most of all, I would love to see them come to know that there is one true God out there and he wants to know them!
- I am currently a Junior at Lincoln Christian College, studying to get a B.A. in Youth Ministry.
- I am the youth pastor at Glasford Baptist Church, and I really have a real heart for youth and want to see them make wise decisions for their lives. My dream is to be a positive influence in their lives.
My Interests/Hobbies:
- I love to go paintballing and take off on my motorcycle (1984 Kawasaki GPz550). Actually, just about anything outdoors (although I have never been hunting).
- My favorite TV Shows include The Office, Monk, Gilmore Girls, Happy Days, and Psych.
- I have a love for anything by J.R.R. Tolkien!
